WASH Quality Assurance Specialist – 1 no (Field Based) | Summary of Job Purpose: The Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee the successful implementation of WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) projects, focused on the construction and repair of water supply schemes, toilets, and sanitation facilities in schools and communities. The specialist ensures that all work is performed with close coordination with the local government, meets the quality standards and project specification of the construction and repair. S/he will work very closely with the implementing partner and also with the UNICEF WASH team in the field through regular contact and communication. This role requires an excellent understanding of the construction methods, materials and safety protocols with an ability to oversee multiple construction sites. Educational qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or relevant field with 4 years of experience in the relevant technical fields with 1 year specific on WASH. Experience in designing and implementation of community Water Supply Sanitation and Hygiene Projects. Solid experience in undertaking technical survey, design, preparation of Bill of quantity for different technology on water supply scheme.
