This position will be responsible for providing support and coaching to WVI Nepal’s NGO Partners and ensure all NGO Partners adhere required compliances, which includes payment and disbursements; procurement review; monitoring and reporting as per tools with at least 60% visit to the field/Project locations. To ensure stewardship, accountability and transparency in the Finance and SCM sectors through active resourcing and empowerment of PNGOs.
1. Field Health and Nutrition Lead based in Bardibas, East Field Office
The Field Sector lead- Health and Nutrition will manage Health & Nutrition programme portfolio in respective WVI NEPAL’s Field Office/s (district based) in compliance with WVI NEPAL’s sectoral and quality standards, Government’s policies and industry norms. The role will be responsible for monitoring the performance of partner NGOs, ensuring the quality standards, equipping partner NGOs with appropriate technical and functional support, and managing relationships with sectoral key stakeholders including Local Governments. The position is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive in-field annual technical support plan for the sector. The role is responsible for drafting and rolling out all necessary technical tools, quality benchmarks and guidance materials to support quality program implementation at the field. This position shall be responsible to ensure DPA principle is followed as a part of project management. This position will be responsible for relationship management for strategic opportunities are collaborations for respective sector and work with Field Operations Manager for provincial stakeholder’s relationship management.
2. Field Protection Coordinator based in Bardibas, East Field Office
The Protection Field Coordinator position will manage Protection project portfolio of WVI Nepal’s Eastern Field Office, including CP components of the CESP, in compliance with WVI Nepal’s sectoral and quality standards, Government’s policies and industry norms.The role will be responsible for managing and monitoring the performance of partner NGOs, ensuring that partner NGOs have access to appropriate technical and functional support, and managing relationships with sectoral key stakeholders including Local Governments. The role will also be responsible for contributing to the design of new Protection projects.
This position is based in WVI Nepal’s East Field Office and will be required to travel monthly to support WVI Nepal’s Area Programs Districts in various parts of the country (up to 60% of time).
