Background – The purpose of the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management is to ensure uninterrupted supplies of health commodities in support of US Government (USG)-funded public health initiatives around the world. The project provides direct procurement and supply chain management support to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), and Population and Reproductive Health. In supporting USG-funded global health activities, GHSC-PSM will develop and manage a wide array of services for health commodity procurement and related systems strengthening technical assistance encompassing different elements of a comprehensive supply chain.
At the country level, GHSC-PSM supports country strategies and priorities that fall under the following three project objectives:
- Global Commodity Procurement and Logistics
- Systems Strengthening Technical Assistance
- Global Collaboration to Improve Long-Term Availability of Health Commodities
Objective of the assignment – Teamwork for purposes of boosting team performance - Collaboration and fostering innovation and creativity - communication and socialization within the team
Scope of services – To facilitate and moderate a team building process that will improve both horizontal and vertical communication within GHSC-PSM. The team building program should be creatively organized to include sessions aimed at helping the staff to identify the interrelationship between organizational and individual work plans that ensures the optimal delivery of the program outputs, better communication and enhanced team work. The Team building consultant/contractor will work closely with the Senior Human Resources Manager of GHSC-PSM and other staff. The purpose of this consultant/contractor is to preparing training material, conducting training for 1 day and preparation of report.
Main Tasks – Prepare team building activity and materials, facilitate 1 day workshop to increase employability of staff and re-energize motivation among staff and prepare workshop report.
Key Deliverables – Facilitation of 1 day workshop on team building cum increasing employability of GHSC-PSM staff.
Required Qualifications –
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject, master’s degree preferred.
- Experience of facilitation of workshops/trainings in national and international setting on communications, enhancing interpersonal skills, team bonding and increasing employability.
- Proven experience/expertise in facilitation of workshop on increasing employability and increasing motivation.
- Proven skills in organizing team building event, preparation of training materials.
- Sound knowledge of participatory methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and achieve results through collaboration.
- Previous working experience in Nepal.
Languages – Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Compensation –
- Financial Proposal must be quoted in Nepalese currency (NPR)
- A workday is equal to 8 hours.
Deadline to Apply – The complete proposal in all respect should be submitted no later than July 11, 2022. Incomplete proposals or proposals received after deadline will not be considered.
