Heifer International Nepal is dedicated to ending hunger and poverty while caring for the Earth. With a holistic approach, Heifer collaborates with local governments and partners, engages youth to improve agricultural practices, supports women-led cooperatives, and creates lasting economic change. Its mission is to ensure families achieve sustainable living incomes, with access to food, shelter, education, and healthcare, while driving progress toward more inclusive and resilient agri-food systems.

Objective: The primary objective of the consultancy is to enhance Heifer International Nepal's branding and visibility by creating compelling stories and visual content that highlight the impact of Heifer Nepal’s projects.

Scope of Work: 

• Producing high-quality photos and videos from Heifer International Nepal's project areas.
• Conducting interviews with project participants, stakeholders, and Heifer Nepal staff to gather impactful stories.
• Creating content that aligns with Heifer International Nepal's mission and vision.
• Ensuring all content is suitable for various platforms, including social media, websites, and print media.
• Collaborating with Heifer International Nepal's communication team to ensure consistency in messaging.

Deliverables:

• Final edited photos from all the project areas
• A total of 12 short video documentaries (not more than 2 minutes) along with background music and voice over where necessary
• A submission of final report along with all the photos and videos (including b rolls) in a hard drive.

Coverage Area: Butwal, Dang, Janakpur, Chitwan

Duration: The consultancy will be for a period of five months, starting from February 2025 to June 2025.

The company will work closely with Heifer Nepal to perform the following tasks:

• Create a storyboard and shot list of the videos and photos.
• Heifer will give leads to the consultant for shooting dates and travel plan, the consultant will take video footages and photos relevant to the story. 
• Work closely with the Communication department to ensure the quality of work.

Heifer International Nepal will provide the following support with: 

• Briefing and detailed explanation of the kind of content needed and help in defining the best content for different purposes.
• Coordinate with the field program team for capturing videos and photos of project participants at project sites.
• Provide feedback on edited videos and photos for correction.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in videography with a record of providing high-quality, creative, images for clients.
• Ability to communicate in English and Nepali.
• Previous experience with Heifer International Nepal and familiarity with Heifer International Nepal modality is preferred.
• Must procure and manage other videography related equipment, including Camera. Rental charges will not be borne by Heifer International Nepal.

All information pertaining to this project video, audio, photos, project documents, etc. shall remain the property of Heifer International Nepal who shall have exclusive rights over their use. Except for purposes of this assignment, the information shall not be disclosed to the public nor used in whatever without written permission of Heifer International Nepal in line with the national and International Copyright Laws applicable.
