Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Writer at Jaankaari in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.

Content Creation: Write engaging news articles, feature stories, and updates focused on MSMEs from various regions of Nepal.

Interviews: Conduct interviews with entrepreneurs, bankers, and financiers to gather insights on the challenges and successes of running MSMEs.

Social Media Engagement: Create and publish engaging snippets, polls, quizzes, and event promotions on Instagram and Facebook to increase audience reach and engagement.

Cross-Platform Presence: Maintain a professional presence on LinkedIn and Twitter, sharing content and interacting with the MSME community.

Qualifications

• Excellent Writing and Editing skills
• An undergraduate degree in finance, business, or journalism-related program
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with a passion for entrepreneurship and economic development
• Experience in journalism, content creation, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to conduct interviews and extract valuable insights
• Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies for audience engagement.
• Willingness to travel across Nepal to cover stories and interviews
