WordPress Developer (Part-Time)

Shine Education Services Pvt. Ltd. (SES), Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu, has been offering quality counseling in the field of “Study & Work in Japan” since its inception in 2015 through running ‘Study in Japan’ and ‘Work in Japan’ programs for students and skilled & semi-skilled workforce, respectively. Be it studying in Japan or working in Japan, SES guides interested candidates by providing a platform for the preparations and visa application procedures.

Simply the best known for its extensive Japanese preparation classes and counseling, Shine Education Services is seeking for a dedicated and committed WordPress Developer (Part-Time) to oversee the company’s websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
• Design, develop, and maintain SES WordPress website architecture, features, and functionality.
• Ensure SES website is optimized for search engines (SEO).
• Implement responsive web design to ensure optimal viewing across various devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
• Implement security measures to safeguard the website from potential threats.
• Improve site speed and load times.
• Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Collaborate with the team to meet organizational goals.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in WordPress (themes, plugins, customizations).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Familiarity with SEO and website optimization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• Previous experience developing/maintaining WordPress websites.
• Understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first approaches

Additional Information:

• Must be able to visit Kathmandu, Mid-Baneshwor based Office at least once a week for updates and coordination.
• Physical presence once a week for few hours at the office is mandatory.
