Rural Development & Environment Management Society (RUDES) is a non-governmental organization that has been actively working in the Baitadi district since 2002. Throughout the years, RUDES has successfully completed several projects, in various sectors including- promoting livelihood through climate-smart farming technology, advocating for various causes, including water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, safe motherhood, non-formal education, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and income-generating programs for marginalized groups such as women, Dalits, disadvantaged individuals, children, and the poor (WODDCAP) and many more. Our ultimate goal is to improve their quality of life and ensure their rights.
At RUDES, our vision is to create a self-dependent society. We believe that self-dependency encompasses various aspects, including improving economic conditions, enhancing health and nutrition conditions, advancing education, implementing disaster risk reduction measures, fulfilling daily needs without discrimination, fostering problem-solving abilities, and protecting individual rights. Our mission revolves around promoting livelihood through climate-smart farming technology, advocating for various causes, including water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, safe motherhood, non-formal education, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and income-generating programs for marginalized groups such as women, Dalits, disadvantaged individuals, children, and the poor (WODDCAP). Our ultimate goal is to improve their quality of life and ensure their rights.
To achieve sustainable improvements in the social, educational, nutritional, water sanitation and hygiene, disaster mitigation, adaptation, and economic status of marginalized communities, women, Dalits, and the poor, RUDES operates participatory programs. We empower local communities by utilizing the resources available at the local level and encourage leadership and partnerships in caring for water sanitation and hygiene, environment conservation, livelihood improvement, child education, disaster risk reduction, health and nutrition, and child and women's rights.
Currently, we are seeking competent, experienced, committed, and dynamic candidates for the following position to support the implementation of LS-MAP Phase II, GREEN and TROSA projects funded by OXFAM in Nepal in Baitadi District.
1. Position:- DRR Officer- LS-MAP- Phase II Project
Required No.:- 1(one)
The DRR Officer will work as part of a technical support unit for the RUDES/LS-Map Phase II project and is responsible to conduct and carrying out outputs of all the Disaster Risk Reduction and Early Warning system related activities with all terms and conditions mentioned in the partnership agreement for the program “LS-MAP- Phase II Project” implementation between RUDES, Baitadi and Oxfam in Nepal. DRR Officer will work under the Executive Director (ED) of RUDES for day-to-day management, planning, implementation with the coordination and oversight with the Technical Coordinator (TC) LS-Map Phase II program for technical support, advice and backstopping.

2. Position:- Finance Officer-GREEN Project
Required No.:- 1(one)
The Finance Officer will have a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and logistics management within the GREEN project at the District Office. This position is integral to maintaining sound financial management, streamlining office administration, and effectively managing logistics to facilitate the achievement of the project's financial goals and objectives.

3. Position:- Social Mobilizers- TROSA PROJECT
Required No.:- 3(Three)
We are seeking motivated and experienced Social Mobilizers to join our team for the Trans boundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA II) Project. As a Social Mobilizer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Coordinator and project officer in various project activities and ensuring the smooth implementation of the project. Social mobilizer will be responsible for coordinating with Women empowerment centers, local government bodies, stakeholders, and communities to address river basin issues.

4. Position:- Community Facilitator- TROSA PROJECT
Required No.:- 7(Seven)
We are seeking motivated and experienced Community Facilitator to join our team for the Transboundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA II) Project. As a Community facilitator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Social Mobilizers in various project activities and ensuring the smooth implementation of the project. You will be responsible for coordinating with Women empowerment centers, local government bodies, stakeholders, and communities to address river basin issues. Additionally, you will assist in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
Base: This Position is based in (Among the 7 Facilitator-Dashartha Chand Municipality-4 Pancheshwor Rural Municipality-2, and Shibhanath Rural Municipality-1 of Baitadi District)
