Detailed Job Description / Requirements:
Social Mobilization Officer (District Field Officer)

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Agriculture, DRRM, Statistics, Business Management, Social Sciences, Rural Development, Demographics, Public Health, International Development, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Agriculture, Livelihoods, and Climate Change.
- Proven success in designing, implementing, and managing M&E systems from project initiation to completion.
- Strong knowledge of evaluation methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, and impact) and data collection/analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent skills in synthesizing complex information and communicating it effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office, data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Excel), and research.
Responsibilities:
Project Implementation:
- Support the Program Manager in coordinating with like-minded agencies for program implementation.
- Assist community and social mobilizers in field-level implementation.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality project activities and strategies.
- Lead field data collection and support reporting as per the agreed format and plan.
- Conduct at least 70% field visits to project locations.
- Develop work plans to identify project targets.
Capacity Building and Monitoring:
- Implement project activities based on the annual/monthly work plan and Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP).
- Provide necessary support for handling complaints and prepare talking points for various situations.
- Train community champions and field workers on project components, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), climate change, and Green Jobs.
- Conduct rapid assessments and trend analysis of field-based programs.
- Assist the project team in documenting lessons learned and reports.
- Organize reviews and learning events at project locations.
- Collect best practices and case studies to demonstrate qualitative and quantitative changes over time.
- Manage joint monitoring activities, including Board members and related stakeholders.
Accountability:
- Share estimated budgets for each activity with the community and stakeholders.
- Assist in strengthening accountability mechanisms at the project level.
- Establish and manage a complaint and feedback mechanism for the project.
- Ensure annual approval of project plans by the municipality.
- Ensure active participation of children, women, and other vulnerable community members in all project activities.
Reporting:
- Collaborate with assistant social mobilizers and community volunteers to manage all program-related aspects, including data collection, implementation, and report writing.
- Regularly report/alert the project team on anticipated issues, risks, and emerging opportunities/threats to project implementation.
- Use appropriate reporting templates to facilitate data acquisition and aggregation or develop/maintain an effective database.
- Create and integrate graphics in reports to visualize data effectively.
- Prepare and share all project-related reports for donors, stakeholders, and the Social Welfare Council (SWC).
Coordination and Project Development:
- Coordinate with municipal chiefs and other Palika members to ensure effective delivery and resource leverage.
- Identify funding opportunities and share them with the Program Director and Program Manager.
- Contribute to the project development team as requested.
Position: Social Mobilization Assistant

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of a Intermediate Level (Preferred Bachelor's degree) in Social Sciences, Rural Development, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in community mobilization, preferably in the fields of agriculture, livelihoods, DRR or climate change.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with diverse community members.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office) and report writing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing project activities at the community level, ensuring effective participation and engagement.
- Support the Social Mobilization Officer in coordinating with local stakeholders and community groups.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and gather data for reporting.
- Facilitate community meetings, training sessions, and awareness programs.
- Help in documenting project activities, including collecting best practices and success stories.
- Address community concerns and feedback, ensuring effective communication between the project team and the community.
Position: Finance & Admin Assistant (Office Assistant)

Qualifications & Experience:
- Intermediate degree required (Bachelor’s preferred) in Management, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administration, logistics, and finance with NGOs or private sectors
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Nepali typing (English preferred)
- Ability to manage vendor relations and handle administrative tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks and support financial operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in drafting official letters and documents.
