Women's Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a non-governmental Human Rights organization dedicated to protecting and promoting Human Rights. Founded in 1991, WOREC focuses on preventing violence against women, addressing its causes and effects, and advocating for ecological justice through the economic, social, environmental, and cultural well-being of women and other marginalized groups. We envision a society where feminist aspirations are met, where everyone is equal, and social justice exists. Our working districts with offices are spread across Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Dang, Kailali, and Rukum, with additional working districts in Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Kanchanpur, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok, and Saptari. The Central Office is located in Lalitpur.

1. Program Officer

Duty Station: Dang

No. of Position: 1

The Program Officer works under direct supervision from District Coordinator and Program Coordinator. The program officer is responsible for the implementation of Hamro Sahas: Feminist Movement Building for Social Change project in Lumbini Province and track implementation and achievements to ensure accountability and efficiency of program. This position also coordinates for community-based partnership in WOREC working area with the support of District Coordinators and program coordinator. Program Officer works in close coordination with concerned Manager, Coordinators and WOREC's networks in achieving the goal and objectives of programs. Program Officer is mainly responsible for implementation of the programs in district level, event coordination, periodic reporting, organizing workshops and Interaction programs as per planning of project document, supervision of field staff, engaging in data collection, regular monitoring of the program of field level, close coordination with finance officer, district team and project team, documentation, communication with stakeholders, publication and coordination with central office and communities.

2. Contractual Basis Psychosocial Counselor

Duty Station: Dang and Kapilvastu

संस्थाले सम्बन्धित सरोकारवालाहरुसँगको समन्वय सहकार्यमा, प्रभावित व्यक्ति, परिवार र समुदायको तथ्याङ्क संकलन, मनोविमर्श सेवा प्रदान गरी उनीहरुमा पैदा गरेको तनावलाई कम गर्न मनोविमर्श सेवा, लैंगिक हिंसा, यौन तथा प्रजनन स्वास्थ्य समस्याका बारेमा सुचना तथा जानकारी र हिंसा प्रभावित महिलाहरुलाई विभिन्न सेवा उपलव्ध गराउछ । साथै यस कार्यक्रम अंतर्गत प्रभावित तथा पीडित व्यक्तिहरुलाई आवश्यक सेवा तथा सुचना प्रदान गर्नु, पालिका तथा जिल्लामा रहेका  विभिन्न सरोकारवाला निकायहरुसँग समन्वय सहकार्य गर्ने, डाटा संकलन गर्ने, महिला मानव अधिकारका क्षेत्रका विभिन्न तथ्याकं संकलन गर्ने, प्रतिवेदन तयार गर्ने महिला हिंसा प्रभावितहरुको तथ्याकं सकंलन गर्ने, परियोजना अन्तर्गत तर्जुमा गरिएका क्रियाकलाप सञ्चालन गर्ने, अनुगमन तथा मुल्यांकनका क्रियाकलपा संचालन गर्ने जस्ता विषयमा सचेतना तथा प्रतिकार्यात्मक कृयाकलाप सञ्चालन गर्नुपर्नेछ ।

3. Legal Aid Consultant

Duty Station: Dang (Visit to Kapilvastu on need basis)

No of Vacancies: 1

WOREC has been providing legal aid support and legal awareness under its GBV response and prevention programs in various districts. WOREC is now implementing Hamro Sahas: Feminist Movement Building for Social Norm Change project in Dang and Kapilvastu under its Human Rights and Social Justice Theme. To provide legal aid support to women and young girl survivors. Likewise, WOREC also provides legal awareness support to women, young girl and LGBTIQ+ survivors from indigenous minority, marginalized community and religious minority seeking justice against GBV, intimate partner violence, forced marriage, child marriage, and dowry-related violence. Thus, a legal consultant will be hired to provide the services in both districts.
