Indreni Rural Development Centre Nepal a non-profit organization registered in Rupendehi district, Lumbini Province is implementing PRERNA project in partnership with FAIRMED Foundation Nepal in Rupandehi district. The project is working on integrated approach of NTDS & MNH including DID in primary health care system and supporting the local government in health system strengthening and working with communities to generate demand for health service utilization. The project is going to recruit for the following posts so interested candidates are encouraged to apply.

1 | District Project Coordinator No. 1 | Key Responsibilities: DPC will be responsible for the overall implementation and management of project activities and supervise the field team. He/she will be involved in annual, quarterly & monthly planning, implementation, and supervision of project activities. Similarly, he/she will oversee monitoring and reporting. He/she will be responsible for maintaining the coordination and collaboration with the like-minded stakeholders, rapport building and advocacy particularly with District stakeholders (Health Office, District Coordination Committee/Office & District Administration Office), municipalities, health facilities, HFOMCs as well as related offices of province level. He/she will work closely with the technical officer. He/she will coach, guide and supervise Community empowerment and social Mobilization. He/she will also be responsible for timely reporting and dissemination of project achievement and learning with relevant stakeholders. Qualifications and experience:

2 | Technical Officer No. 1 | Key Responsibilities: Technical Officer will be responsible for providing technical support to implement PRERNA projects activities. He/she will strengthen integrated NTDs & MNH service in Health facilities (HFs) and play bridging role between peripheral health facilities and community. He /She will be responsible for maintaining close coordination with Health Office & Palika’s Health coordinator before activities planning & implementation. He/She will be responsible for monitoring and documentation of project related activities to ensure projects progress data is timely collected, verified, entered, and consolidated. He/She should timely provide information and draft reports to the project coordinator for review, finalization and sharing with relevant stakeholders. Qualifications and experience: At least a bachelor’s degree in public health or relevant discipline with clinical background, experiences in basic health service delivery, preferably on Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD), Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH) and Disability Inclusive Development (DID). Experience in monitoring and documentation and producing comprehensive reports and case stories. Ability to organize training, workshops, and support in national programs/campaign. Excellent knowledge of the local Government health system. Fluent in written and spoken English and additional local languages with ability in computer skills. |
3 | Community empowerment and social Mobilization Supervisor No: 6 | Key Responsibilities: The Community empowerment and social Mobilization must be from targeted Municipalities of Project area i.e. Kanchan, Gaidahawa, Suddhodhan, Siyari, Om Satiya, Mayadevi, Rohini, Kotahimai, Marchawari and Sammarimai Rural Municipalities and Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality of Rupandehi. Under the guidance of project coordinator and technical officer he/she will work closely with Municipalities, HFOMCs, FCHVs/MGs, Schools, and other community level active groups in the community. He/she must be aware of the Government health system in the new federal structure. He/she is expected to have the basic knowledge about NTDs, MNH, WASH & Disability. He/she needs to have commitment and aptitudes to community empowerment and their mobilization, and group facilitation. Each CESM will implement project activities at community level & ward level ensuring effective coordination with Ward and Municipality offices and collaborate with other stakeholders working in the Municipality. He/she will be responsible for working in the identified left behind communities across different municipalities. Qualifications and experience: At least Intermediate level preferably health or relevant social sciences with at least 2 years working experience in community empowerment, and mobilization. Experienced in community health programs will be added advantage. Experience in facilitating community level interaction program with good skill of maintaining public relation. |
