Working for Access and Creation Nepal (WAC-Nepal) is nonprofit, non-government and nonpolitical humanitarian development organization has been going to implement the project named “Empowered communities and CSOs for inclusive nutrition governance in the hilly and mountain regions of Western Nepal” to strengthen a sustainable and inclusive nutrition governance for an effective and efficient implementation of the Multi-Sector Nutrition Plan (MSNP III, 2023 - 2030) with the consortium of Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD) and Welthungerhilfe (WHH) in Chaurpati Rural Municipality, Sanfebagar Municipality, Mellekh Rural Municipality, Bannigadi Jayagadh Rural Municipality and Mangelsen Municipality of Achham District. WAC- Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on the following positions for smooth implementation of the project.
1. Position: Nutrition Officer
Required No.: 1 Person (Based on Sanfebagar)
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing or other relevant fields, with 3 years of relevant work experience in Nutrition Sector.
Major Responsibility:
- In coordination with the District Coordinator, provide technical support in planning, implementation, monitoring, and quality assurance of nutrition project.
- Lead the project nutrition component of the district, including capacity building of the LGs, support in child growth monitoring, Nutrition Education and Rehabilitation Programme (NERP) camps and LANN+ and nutrition education to Female Community Health Volunteer (FCHV)s and targeted communities.
- Provide required technical expertise to the Project team for the implementation of interventions in the project.
- Ensure convergence of nutrition, agriculture and WASH interventions in the project area.
- Develop context-appropriate efforts to reach underserved and marginalized communities with the aim of reducing malnutrition.
- Support government health facilities from project areas for nutritional assessment of children under five and management of acute malnourished children.
- Support and provide technical assistance to local government during the implementation of MSNP III and nutrition friendly local governance at local level activities.
- Ensure all the project activities have been timely and effectively implemented in the project area and to report the same to the District Coordinator and Team Leader.

2. Position: Admin and Finance Assistant
Required No.: 1 Person (Based on Sanfebagar)
Minimum Qualification and Experienceple:
Bachelor Degree of Commerce, Business Studies or Equivalent, Minimum 3 years of experience in independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning and analysis in I/NGO. Demonstrated experience in the use of MS office Package (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.) & Internet, Ability to lead financial management of the project/program and make the linkage of this with overall financial management of the organization
Major Responsibility:
- Prepare (Master Budget) annual budget and prepare revision budget as required,
- Ensure proper cash management to run field level activities and day to day operations.
- Ensure compliance of local laws, donor requirements and internal control mechanism.
- Timely payments of vendor’s bills and settlement of advance, liabilities and receivables etc and reconcile periodically,
- Maintain and disbursement of petty cash,
- BRS preparation, Tax detail preparation,
- Admin and Financial Management along with supply chain of the Project/Program – 40%, Budgeting and Reporting – 30%, Financial Monitoring – 20% and Compliance and Others – 10%. Managing Purchasing Requisition, Executing and Solicitation of Sourcing Methods and Implement Strategic Sourcing,
- Contract management, general office administration and logistics and procurement management,
- Payment/Invoice Processing, Risk Management, Compliance and Review, Reporting and Analysis.
