It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

Guided by its vision of fostering a just and prosperous society where individuals have access to and control over resources, KIRDARC Nepal strives for community empowerment and ownership.

KIRDARC Nepal, in collaboration with Save the Children International, is currently executing an integrated project aimed at enhancing students' basic education, promoting the implementation of UNCRC by both the government and civil society, and establishing safe and protective environments for children within schools, health facilities, and other community settings in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla District. Consequently, KIRDARC Nepal is actively seeking competent, qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens to fill the following full-time positions:

1. Position Title: Program Coordinator-Adolescent MNH-1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Master’s degree in public health with 2 years (1 years for GEDSI group) of experience in maternal and neonatal health sector or bachelor’s degree in public health with 4 years (2 years for GEDSI) of experience in managing maternal and neonatal/adolescent health project.

Key Skills and Knowledge Required:-

The candidate has sound knowledge in neonatal/adolescent health. The candidate is skilled in Project Management and has a strong ability to write reports, proposals, and case studies. The candidate excels in presentation, facilitation, and negotiation, and has very good documentation and reporting skills in both English and Nepali. 2. Position Title: Technical Coordinator-Adolescent MNH-1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Master’s in nursing, midwifery, and medicine with 2 years (1 years for GEDSI group) of experience in maternal and neonatal health sector or bachelor’s in nursing, midwifery, and medicine with 4 years (2 years for GEDSI) of experience in implementation of onsite coaching and mentoring is highly preferred.

Key Skills and Knowledge Required:-

The candidate possesses in-depth knowledge and expertise in neonatal and adolescent health, including key aspects such as early childhood development, maternal and newborn care, adolescent reproductive health, and public health interventions aimed at improving neonatal and adolescent well-being. The candidate is skilled in Project Management, with a proven track record in planning, executing, and monitoring health-related initiatives. 3. Position Title: Field Officer-Adolescent MNH-1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in nursing/public health OR Staff Nurse/Health Assistant (HA) with 2 years of demonstrated work experience in health-related projects. Previous experience in program related to Maternal and Neonatal /Adolescent Health is Preferred. Previous experience in closely working with local governments and structures.

Key Skills and Knowledge Required:-

The Field Officer for Adolescent MNH requires expertise in adolescent maternal and newborn health, with a focus on community-based interventions. The role demands strong project management skills for planning, implementing, and evaluating health programs, along with proficiency in data collection, reporting, and case study preparation. Effective community engagement and communication skills are essential for facilitating discussions, training, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve adolescent health outcomes.
