International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.
For the following positions, INF Nepal Green Pastures Hospital Pokhara is seeking competent, skilled, service oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions, and values.
1. Position: Pharmacy In Charge
Required Number: 1
Location: Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder is responsible for overall strengthening of Pharmacy through internal and external management. Ensuring quality services and legal compliances of the department. Maintaining and enhancing operational efficiency on pharmacy units. This dynamic role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizing skills and a deep understanding of retail pharmacy.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Must have bachelor’s in pharmacy with registration at Nepal Pharmacy Council.
- Must have 3 years of relevant experience in pharmacy or dispensary.
- Experience in a hospital setting and working knowledge and application of Nepal’s legislation governing pharmaceutical service delivery is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills, patience, empathy and ability to motivate and encourage people.
- Good experience in handling software related to pharmacy.
- Able to keep all matters pertaining to patient care confidential.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Basic computer skill: MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
2. Position: Audiologist
Required Number: 1
Location: Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder is responsible to undertake management of audiological clinical testing, interpretation and reporting in the areas of hearing and vestibular assessment, vestibular rehabilitation, paediatrics assessment and tinnitus retraining therapy. To manage adult auditory rehabilitation via the fitting and maintenance of hearing aids. S/he need to take an active role in research, service development and service audit. Develop and participate in the teaching of trainees, students and junior staff. Occasional speech and language therapy work.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- BSc in Audiology or Bachelor in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology (BASLP) or equivalent.
- One year of work experience in relevant field.
- Experience in hearing aid fitting and reassessment in pediatrics and audiology.
- Experience in Vestibular Assessment, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Implantable hearing technology.
- Excellent patient handling skills.
- Good recording and reporting skills.
- Motivated to care for and serve disadvantaged people.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Good computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management.
- Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
