International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.

For the following position, Shining Hospital INF Banke (SHIB) is seeking competent, skilled, service oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions, and values.

Position: Disability Project Officer

Required Number: 1

Location: Shining Hospital INF Banke with frequent travel to project areas

Purpose of the Job

The job holder is responsible for timely implementation of the disability aspects of the project and ensures the highest performance and desired results of the project i.e. to empower persons with disabilities to exercise their rights to health and socio-economic participation. S/he is also responsible for maintaining a good relationship with relevant government and non-government stakeholders for sustainability of the project.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Bachelor degree in Social Science/Public Health or relevant discipline or Bachelor in physiotherapy.
• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in disability related field.
• Understanding of the rights of the disabled and the national policies.
• Good understanding of the project cycle management, reporting and documentation.
• Proven ability in leading disability aspect of the project.
• Proficient in planning, design and facilitation of capacity building training.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written) in both English and Nepali.
• Advanced computer skill: MS Excel, Word, Email, Internet and Social Media.
• Ability to work effectively in crisis situations and readiness to travel frequently in the working Municipalities.
• Able to demonstrate INF Values in work and dealing with others.

Position: Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant

Location: Shining Hospital INF Banke with frequent travel to project areas

Purpose of the Job

The job holder is responsible to assist in developing and maintaining database & information system to track project progress. The post holder will also assist the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for ongoing monitoring activities.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Proficiency Certificate level in social science or other related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in social science or related discipline is an added advantage.
• 1 years of experience in relevant field.
• Experience working in I/NGO or clinical setting.
• Good planning, reporting and presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, considerate and respectful of team and community members.
• Skill in statistical analysis and M&E tools.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft programs.
• Fluency in verbal and written Nepali, Abadhi and English.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
• Valid motor bike riding license would be added advantage.
• Able to demonstrate INF Values in work and dealing with others.
