Through research, policy interventions, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement, PRC strives to make a lasting impact on Nepal's climate actions and environmental landscape.

PRC invites applications from the qualified candidates for the following three positions:

1. Position: Programme Coordinator (Renewable Energy)

Join Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC) in our mission towards sustainable development and environmental justice in Nepal. We are seeking a dedicated Programme Coordinator (Renewable Energy) who will contribute to the effective organization of implementation of the activities related to renewable energy. Key responsibilities include ensuring the effective and timely implementation of project activities, including provide technical inputs through renewable energy lens, publication of policy briefs, articles and reports and engaging with government stakeholders, NGOs and development partners. Also promote the Multi-Actor Platform for 100% RE (MAP for 100%RE) and support networking and collaboration with like- minded organizations.

With a Bachelor’s degree (preferably Masters) in Energy, Engineering or related disciplines along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, this role requires proven experience in energy, project management and stakeholder engagement. The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of energy, planning and budgeting, experience in engaging with government ministries, and familiarity with the climate or environment sector are highly desirable.

2. Position: Project Officer (Climate Finance)

Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Project Officer (Climate Finance). As a full-time member of PRC, dedicated to sustainable development and environmental justice, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of climate finance project. Key responsibilities include ensuring the effective and timely implementation of project activities, including tracking and maintaining a database on climate finance situation in the country, publication of policy briefs, articles and reports, and engaging with diverse stakeholders including government, NGOs, and development partners.

With a Bachelor’s degree (preferably Masters) in Economics, Economic Development, Finance, or related disciplines, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, this role requires experience in national budget analysis, delivering project activities, and stakeholder engagement. The candidate should demonstrate the understanding of climate finance, and experience of engaging with government ministries, and familiarity with the climate or environment sector are highly desirable.

3. Position: Finance Officer

Prakriti Resources Centre is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Finance Officer.  Key responsibilities include maintaining the general accounting system and ensuring reliability of accounting records in compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

With a Bachelor Degree (preferably Masters) in Business Administration, Business Studies or related discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, this role requires proven experience of similar positions in NGO/INGO, private organization and handling of accounting software such as Saral Book Accounting Software.
