VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Samriddhi Foundation Nepal Banke, a nonprofit social development organization in the Banke district, is currently implementing the USAID Civil Society and Media (CSM) Program, led by The Asia Foundation (TAF) as the main implementer. We are seeking qualified, competent, dynamic, visionary, and dedicated candidates for our project, "Reduce Child Marriage Issues Through Youth Mobilization in the Muslim Community" in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan.

Position: Project Coordinator (PC)

Require No: 1

Job Location: Nepalgunj, Samriddhi FoundationNepal, with frequent field visits.

Duration: Starting from September 2024, the initial contract will be for Ten Months, with the likelihood of extension contingent on satisfactory performance and resource availability.

General Responsibilities:

1. Program Planning and Development:

•           Develop program objectives, strategies, and action plans aligned with the organization's mission and goals.

•           Create detailed program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

•           Provide technical support to the team members during the activity planning and implementation periods.

2. Implementation and Management:

•           Oversee the execution of programs and projects, ensuring they adhere to schedules and budgets.

•           Manage program logistics, including procurement of materials and scheduling of activities.

•           Develop the project implementation plan, coordinate with all project team members and TAF focal persons, and Ensure the implementation of the project activities as per the                implementation plan with quality delivery.

•           Team building and management and mobilizing the team for quality intervention.

•           Track program progress through regular monitoring and reporting.

3. Reporting and Documentation:

•           Prepare and submit progress reports, financial reports, and other documentation to donors, stakeholders, and organizational leadership.

•           Maintain accurate records of program activities, outcomes, and expenditures.

5. Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement:

•           Build and maintain relationships with the community, donors, and other stakeholders.

•           Represent the NGO in meetings, conferences, and events to promote the program and the organization.

 Education and experience:

•           Bachelor’s degree in social science or similar subjects with 2 years experience in areas of youth empowerment, working against socially harmful practices, and reducing child                 marriage.

•           Practical experience in project implementation, capacity sharing, PME, and reporting

•           Business fluent in written and spoken English, Nepali,and local language

•           Good knowledge and understanding of the human rights and social-political dynamics in Nepal

•           Experience in working with different groups in a highly fragmented society and comfortable building connections across organizational and societal divides, including trust and             relationship–building

•           Excellent oral presentation, workshop conceptualization, participatory training tools, communication, and networking

Position: Admin and Finance Officer

Job Location: Nepalgunj, Samriddhi FoundationNepal with frequent field visit

Duration: Starting from September 2024, the initial contract will be for Ten Months, with the likelihood of extension contingent on satisfactory performance and resource availability.

Position Description: This position will be responsible for providing overall Financial, administrative, and supply chain support to the organization and ensuring that all financial truncations are adhered to the required financial compliance of the organization, donor, and governmental compliances. This includes payment and disbursements, financial analysis, and reporting for the achievement of the overall organization and project goal.

Major responsibilities:

Financial Management of the Project/Program, Budgeting and Reporting, Financial Monitoring, Admin and Supply Chain Management.

Academic Qualification and Experience:

•           Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Studies, or Equivalent.

•           Minimum 2 years of experience in independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning, and analysis in an NGO.

•           Demonstrated experience in the use of MS Office Package (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.) & Internet

•           Ability to lead the financial management of the project/program and make the linkage of this with the overall financial management of the organization.

•           Good command of English & Nepali languages (written & spoken)

•           Practical knowledge of project budgeting, accounting & reporting

•           Knowledge of tax and compliance

Position: Field Supervisor (FS)

Job Location: Samriddhi FoundationNepal with frequent field visits.

Duration: Starting from September 2024, the initial contract will be for Nine Months, with the likelihood of extension contingent on satisfactory performance and resource availability.

General Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of the Field Supervisor (FS) is to implement the project in Nepalgunj Banke. The activities conducted under the project, such as the formation of youth clubs, Public Discussion and other, should be carried out in the Muslim community to make them successful. SF should work in close coordination with PC and the Chairperson of SamriddhiFoundation Nepal. Besides project cycle management, SF should lead and mobilize project youth clubs to influence the impact of government intervention and sustainability on individuals.


Education and experience:

10±2 or similar subjects with 1-year experience in youth empowerment and should have worked against socially harmful practices. protection and knowledge on project cycle management and Experience working in reducing child marriage.
