Background

Hill Development and Conservation Group Nepal (HDCG Nepal) is a non-governmental organization. HDCG was established with collective efforts of like-minded youths of the Solukhumbu district, Nepal to help underprivileged people, especially the people of Mahakulung Rural Municipality. It works in affiliation with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal. HDCG with support from dZi Foundation/ Nepal is currently implementing a project aiming at helping the rural communities in Mahakulung RM of Solukhumbu district and Salpa Silichho RM of Bhojpur district to achieve prosperity by eliminating barriers to basic needs, fostering opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, and building their capacity to catalyze transformational change. The project partners with communities to support complementary health, education, and livelihood programs that unlock local opportunities, build more unified communities, and create lasting solutions to complex local challenges.
