Aafant Nepal (KIN NEPAL) is a national-level not-for-profit non-governmental organization (NGO), established in 2008 in Lalitpur to end human trafficking in Nepal by transforming broken individuals and strengthening communities, enhancing and ensuring their human rights, justice, and self-dignity. KIN is all set to transform the lives of broken and rescued young women/girls and their communities physically and mentally, through rescue and rehabilitation, counseling, capacity building, empowerment, and community reintegration. With this strategy, KIN seeks to prioritize its program activities on Prevention, Protection, and Prosecution along with improving coordination, alliance building, and advocacy against human trafficking, gender-based violence, and sexual exploitation of women in Nepal.

We are looking for young, dynamic, qualified, and self-motivated Nepalese citizens competent to accomplish challenging leadership roles for the following positions:

Position:

Executive Director (Female)

Location:

Head Office, Lalitpur with at least 50% visit to KIN Nepal's safe home and Field Offices.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the position is to provide strategic and institutional leadership across the spectrum of KIN NEPAL operations including fundraising, donor relations, external and internal communication, stakeholder networking and partnerships, and, organizational and financial management.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required


Education

  • Master’s degree in Development Studies/Social Work/Sociology/Human Rights/Gender Studies/Management or relevant discipline from recognized university with a minimum of five years of practical experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 7 years practical experience working in human trafficking or a related field such as protection, human rights, women empowerment in a role that involves staff supervision & program management.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • In-depth understanding of and experience providing guidance to others on, trauma-informed and survivor-cantered programming;
  • Proven experience in fundraising and cultivating relationships with private, public and other large international donors;
  • Strong writing and communication skills, including documentation of program results, case studies and marketing/positioning materials; funding proposals; and donor reports;
  • Must demonstrate advanced communication skills both in Nepali & English for maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including donors;
  • Knowledge of Transformational Development, Gender & Development, Human Trafficking & GBV, Programme Design, Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Reporting and funding proposal writing; Setting benchmarks for self and the team to excel in performance.

Position:

Administration and Reintegration Manager

Location:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required


Education

  • Master’s Degree in Development Studies/Social Work/Sociology/Human Rights/Gender Studies / Management or relevant discipline from recognized university with a minimum at least 5 years of practical work experience working with Survivor Women and Adolescent Girls. Highly preference: work experience in anti-human trafficking social transformation with youths.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience of providing guidance to others on, trauma-informed and survivor-cantered programming,
  • Strong social and interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain and foster public relations,
  • Strong writing and communication skills, including documentation of program results, case studies and marketing/positioning materials; program/event report writing,
  • Excellence communication skills both in Nepali & English for maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including donors,
  • Good knowledge of Transformational Development, Gender & Development, Human Trafficking & GBV,
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to quickly grasp complex program concepts across a range of sectors,
  • Good knowledge of Local, Province & Federal Government System and Good knowledge of Constitution of Nepal including Laws, Polices and guidelines related human rights, anti-human trafficking and GBV.

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
  • Self-motivated, confident, independent, and creative with strong analytical, Empathetic, compassionate, passionate, and interpersonal skills,
  • Able to work in cross-culture and diverse groups, serving attitude with a leadership trait,
  • Maintains confidentiality,
  • Able to work in a team and independently,
  • Committed to the Vision, Mission, Values, Principles, and Modality of KIN Nepal, Excellent counselling and motivating skills,
  • At least Two-Wheeler License Holder.
