KIRDARC Nepal is an NGO dedicated to Human Rights, Peace Building, Media and Development in Karnali Zone since 1999. It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

Guided by its vision of fostering a just and prosperous society where individuals have access to and control over resources, KIRDARC Nepal strives for community empowerment and ownership.

KIRDARC Nepal, in collaboration with Save the Children International, is currently executing an integrated project aimed at enhancing students' basic education, promoting the implementation of UNCRC by both the government and civil society, and establishing safe and protective environments for children within schools, health facilities, and other community settings in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla District. Consequently, KIRDARC Nepal is actively seeking competent, qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens to fill the following full-time positions:

1. Position Description: Project Manager 1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Master's degree in Education, management, social work, development studies, law, human rights, and other relevant subjects with at least 3 years of working experience in project management. Bachelor’s degree in the same subject with 5 years of working experience in project management.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- This is a key position to lead all activities through the mobilization of the project coordinator and field officer of education, CRG, child protection, SHRH, climate change, and green jobs, as well as the overall project team, to ensure the result of the project under Sahayatra III. Commitment to the aims and principles of KIRDARC a good understanding of the KIRDARC mandate and child focus and an ability to ensure this continues underpin our support.

2. Position Description: Project Coordinator Climate Change and Green Job-1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Climate Change, or a related field, accompanied by one to three years of hands-on experience.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Deep comprehension of climate change issues, encompassing their social, economic, and environmental facets, particularly tailored to the context of Karnali. Proven track record in project management. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal abilities, adept at cultivating and sustaining relationships with diverse stakeholders. Evident dedication to environmental preservation, social equity, and sustainable development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, notably Word, Excel, and Outlook.

3. Position Description: Project Coordinator Education-1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Master’s/Bachelor's degree in Education or related development field with at least two/five years respectively of working expenses in NGO or Development Sector in rural setting.

4. Position Description: MEAL & Documentation Coordinator-1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Possess a Master's degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Statistics, or a pertinent field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in education projects with development organizations. Alternatively, hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, specifically in demonstrating expertise in the design, implementation, and supervision of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tasks.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:-

Demonstrated proficiency in monitoring and evaluation practices, including adept survey design capabilities. skilled in conducting interviews, and extensive experience in Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and individual beneficiary interview Sound knowledge and experience in report writing, both in English and in Nepali.

5. Position Description: Project Coordinator (SRHR)- 1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Master's degree in public health with 2 years of working experience. Or Bachelor's degree in public health or nursing with 3 years of demonstrated work experience in health-related projects.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- This pivotal role serves as the cornerstone for spearheading Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) initiatives. It entails orchestrating the deployment of field officers to guarantee project success within this crucial domain.

6. Position Description: Field Officer/SMO CP & CRG- 1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Education, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in CRG&CP. Alternatively, an Intermediate degree in Social Science, Education, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in CRG&CP.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- This role entails spearheading community and school-level CRG and CP initiatives in seamless coordination with wards, WCRC, child clubs, adolescents, schools, CBOs, caregivers, and community stakeholders.

7. Position Description: Field Officer/SMO SRHR- 2 Persons (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing accompanied by 1 year of practical experience in a relevant field or PCL Nursing/ HA with more than 2 years of experience in relevant field. 

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- This role will oversee the leadership of community-level SRHR initiatives in tight collaboration with health workers, mentors, HFOMC, youth groups, and other stakeholders at the community level.

8. Position Description: Field Officer/Climate Change and Green Job- 2 Persons (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree or 10+2 in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Agriculture, or a related field, coupled with 1-2 years of proven experience in climate change or environmental projects.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Preference given to candidates with experience in projects concerning climate change adaptation, mitigation, and the advancement of green jobs. Proficiency in local government structures and adeptness in collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders are highly valued. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with community members and stakeholders, are essential.

9. Position Description: Psychosocial Counselor-1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in any field, supplemented with six months of Psychosocial Counseling training or a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counseling from accredited institutions, coupled with two years of experience as counselors, trainers, or MHPSS Officers.

Key Skills and Knowledge required: Candidates are expected to allocate approximately 60% of their time in the field, specifically in project implementation areas, to provide support for cases requiring counseling and other Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services (MHPSS).

10. Position Description: Construction Officer-1 Person (Based in Tatopani Rural Municipality of Jumla district)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience. Diploma in Civil Engineering (Sub-Engineering) with at least 3 years of related work experience.

Key Skills and Knowledge required: Profound grasp of government construction policies and guidelines, Skilled in construction management and training facilitation. Exceptional in presentation, facilitation, and negotiation, Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Remarkable expertise in presentation and training facilitation.
