ROKPA Guest House Restaurant and Bakery

Details / requirements:

ROKPA Guest House, Restaurant and Bakery is recruiting staffs for the following positions:

1. Bakery In-charge cum Instructor 

  • Baking skills- should have knowledge of baking techniques such as mixing ingredients, kneading dough, proofing, shaping and baking. 
  • Culinary knowledge- should have knowledge of culinary arts such as recipe development, food safety and sanitation
  • Creativity- should have creativity in developing new recipes and designing new baked goods. 
  • Attention to detail- should have attention to detail in measuring and weighing ingredients as well as decorating and finishing baked goods
  • Time management- should have ability to manage time efficiently as many baked goods require specific preparation and baking times. 
  • Customer care- should have good communication skills and be able to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. 
  • Adaptability- should be able to adapt to changes in demand as well as changes in ingredients or equipment. 
  • Passion for baking- should have a passion for baking and desire to continually improve their skills and knowledge
  • Cost Analysis and Cost Controlling- should have the knowledge of cost analysis and control.  

Qualification and Experience- At least 5 years relevant experience; good interpersonal skills, Basic English speaking skills, and able to work under pressure.

2. Assistant Bakery Chef 

  • Production Management: assist the Head Chef in managing the bakery's production.
  • Staff Management: responsible for managing and supervising the bakery staff, including bakers, pastry chefs, and helpers. 
  • Inventory and Ordering: responsible for managing the inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for the bakery products. 
  • Operational Efficiency: ensure that the bakery operates efficiently. This involves coordinating with the bakery staff to ensure that bakery products are produced and served on time, managing the bakery's daily operations, and resolving any issues that arise during production.

Qualification and Experience: At least 3 years relevant experience; good interpersonal skills, Basic English speaking skills, and able to work under pressure.

3. Food and Beverage (F&B) Captain

Responsible to assist F&B In-charge in managing and supervising the staff, including servers, and bartenders. S/he will ensure all staffs are following company policies and procedures and provide training and support when necessary.

  • Managing Customer Care and Service
  • Menu Planning 
  • Managing Inventory and Ordering: 
  • Ensure Operational Efficiency
  • Budgeting and cost control
  • Staffs schedule and planning.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety

Qualification and Experience- At least 2 years relevant experience; good interpersonal skills, fluent in English and Nepali communication, and able to work under pressure. 

4. Commi III Food Production/Helper

  • S/he is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of food items, which includes 
  • Chopping, grilling, frying, and others as per requirements; 
  • Assist the seniors to achieve departmental goals; 
  • Take care of Steward Department and make sure all the hygiene practice is applied.

Qualification and Experience- At least 1 years relevant experience; good interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and able to work under pressure.
