Jan Jagaran Youth Club (JJYC) is a national, not for profit, Humanitarian development and non-governmental organization working since 1998. It is a well-established youth-led organization that works on empowering rural communities through various inclusive Education, WASH, GEDSI, DRR and Climate change, knowledge management, human rights and sustainable livelihood enhancement programs. JJYC, Bara hereby invites applications from experienced and qualified Nepalese citizens for the following positions for anticipated projects with supporting agencies:

Details of Announcement:

1. Aquaculture Field Facilitator (AFF) – Proposed 10 positions 

This position will be responsible for supporting the development and improvement of fish farming in the targeted municipalities. The AFF will facilitate the formation of Fish Farmer Groups (FFGs), provide training to farmers on fish farming techniques, and assist in establishing linkages with input suppliers and markets. This position will require extensive field visits and hands-on support to farmers.

Location: Sarlahi, Rautahat, and Bara includes Chandranagar Rural Municipality, Godaita Municipality, Gadhimai Municipality, Garuda Municipality, Kolhabi Municipality, Pachrauta and Simraungadh Municipality, Madesh Province Nepal 

Qualification: Minimum +2 pass or Diploma in Fishery, Agriculture, or a related field.

2. Aquaculture Field Coordinator (AFC) – Proposed 02 positions

This position will oversee the implementation of the aquaculture program in the selected municipalities, coordinating the activities of the Aquaculture Field Facilitators (AFFs). The AFC will work closely with local farmers, providing technical support, ensuring the effectiveness of the activities, and assisting in monitoring and reporting.

Location: Sarlahi, Rautahat, and Bara (Multiple Municipalities)

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Fishery, Agriculture, or a related field.

3. Admin and Finance Manager (AFM) – 01 position 

This position is responsible for overall management of the Admin and Finance Unit of the organization. S/he is a leader of the Admin and Finance Unit and under the supervision of the Executive director. The AFM makes decisions regarding day-to-day for Admin and Finance unit functions under the rules and regulations of the organization.

Location: JJYC head office, Kalaiya with frequent field visits to project area. 

Qualification: BBS or BBA with minimum of 7 years working experience in managerial position or, MBS or, MBA with minimum 5 years’ experience at basic level.

4. Program Manager (PM) – 01 position 

This position is responsible for overall management of the program unit of the organization. S/he is a leader of the program team and under the supervision of Executive Director of JJYC. S/he is responsible for developing policies, plan, programs, project, and budgets of the organization with the close coordination of the executive director, stakeholders, and program management team. The PM makes decisions regarding day-to-day overall execution of the program activities under the rules and regulations of the organization.

Location: JJYC head office, Kalaiya with frequent field visits to project area.

Qualification: Minimum of 7 years working experience in managerial position for Bachelor or, 5 years for master’s at basic level.
