Multipurpose Development Society (MPDS) is a Nepali non-governmental, not-for-profit, social development organization, committed to driving positive change and empowerment in Nepal’s rural communities. The organization's vision is to envision a healthy, beautiful, peaceful, disciplined, self-reliant, exemplary, and dynamic society with gender equality.  MPDS has been working with the poor and marginalized people in Sudurpaschim province to empower them for the past 27 years.

MPDS is a sub-recipient of the Global Fund. It is going to implement the Strengthening Health Resilience in Nepal-TB Program in partnership with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and in close coordination with the National Tuberculosis Control Center (NTC) and Health Offices in Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal from April 2025 in partnership with United Nations Development Program (UNDP). In order to implement the project, MPDS announces a vacancy for the following positions.

1. Position: Team Leader

Duty Station: Dhangadhi, Kailali

Required Number: 1 (One)

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences

• MPH or equivalent with at least 2 year’s working experience in TB/HIV program or health related program or BPH or equivalent with at least 3 years’ working experience in TB program or health related program.
• Deep knowledge of TB control, diagnosis, treatment, and national strategies.
• Proven experience in planning, implementing, and managing public health programs, especially TB.
• Ability to lead teams and inspire staff towards achieving program goals.
• Excellent skills in communication strategies and relationship building.
• Knowledge of effective networking, coordination, and collaboration with government and non-governmental stakeholders and health offices including provincial health directorate.
• Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and using data for program planning and improvement.
• Familiar with recording and reporting tools related to NTC Nepal.
• Proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and coordination within multi-districts health offices and other government and non-government organizations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good and strong skills and knowledge in leadership, facilitation, and reporting writing.

2. Position: Program/M&E Officer

Duty Station: Dhangadhi, Kailali

Required Number: 1 (One)

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in public health, social science or equivalent with at least 3 years’ working experience in TB/HIV or relevant program sector.
• Knowledge of Logical Framework, Quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
• Knowledge of health information system.
• Strong knowledge and skills in monitoring, supervision and evaluation system and its tools.
• Knowledge of data compilation, synthesizing, analysis and interpretation using SPSS and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of negotiation, interpersonal communication, report writing and dissemination.
• Familiar with TB program indicators, their recording and reporting tools and programmatic performance tracking.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Familiar with digital platforms and web language.
• Knowledge of ensuring accuracy and consistency in data and report preparation.

3. Position: District Project Coordinator

Duty Station: Achham, Doti, Kailali and Kanchanpur in Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal

Required Number:  4 (1 in each district)

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in public health, social science, population or equivalent with at least 3 years’ working experience in TB/HIV program or relevant program sector.
• Knowledge of programming, program implementation, and team handling and mobilization.
• Knowledge of HIV and TB program in Nepal.
• Knowledge and familiar with HMIS TB recording and reporting system of Government of Nepal (NTC).
• Good knowledge of logistic management and stock handling. 
• Good command and skills to operate MS office software (MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Competent in coordination, collaboration, and liaison with government and non-governmental stakeholders as well as local communities.
• Good skills in interpersonal personal communication, negotiation, team mobilization, and documentation skills.
• Skills of report writing, data interpretation, and presentation.
• Must have a 2-wheeler driving license.

• Knowledge of HIV and TB screening and referral mechanism.

• Familiar with social media, and digital platforms.
• Good recording and reporting skills.

Duty Station: Kailali and Kanchanpur

Required Number: 4 (2 in Kailali and 2 in Kanchanpur)

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

• CMA, ANM, Lab Assistant or relevant with 3 years' working experience in TB/HIV Program or health related program or Intermediate level in Health with 2 years' working experience in TB/HIV or health related program.

• Interested in working at border and have good knowledge of boarder structure and situation.
• Able to deal with and counseling with travelling and returning migrants.
