About caritas Nepal

1. Emergency Response Coordinator
In response to the recent emergency situation affecting the districts of Lalitpur, Sindhuli, Kavrepalanchowk, Pachthar, and Rautahat, Caritas Nepal is initiating a relief and early recovery program. This program aims to address the urgent needs of affected populations, including Food/Non-Food Items (NFI), Shelter, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) support. The Emergency Response Coordinator will play a critical role in coordinating and implementing these relief activities, ensuring effective support for the communities in need.
2. Sub-Engineer
The WASH Sub Engineer will undertake a number of duties and responsibilities, including effective implementation, monitoring, and technical support of the WASH-related drinking water and cash-for-work activities under the project.
3. Social Mobilizer
The main purpose of this position is to mobilize a community to action leading to increased WASH Access.
Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)
The JTA will work to promote sustainable agricultural practices and community-based initiatives that enhance livelihoods, gender equality, and environmental sustainability in target communities. The role requires engagement with diverse stakeholders and supports project implementation, data collection, reporting, and capacity-building within local communities.
Please note: Positions are either field based or involves extensive travel to villages / rural areas where living conditions are minimal.
