Tukee Foundation is a not for profit making organization registered in Kathmandu, Nepal dedicated to support women (specially focusing on single mothers), children and people with disabilities in the various sectors including housing, education, and water supply and sanitation (WASH).

We have a small and collaborative team that utilizes our resources effectively to create transformational impact for the families we serve. We are seeking passionate, highly-skilled, and dedicated team members for various positions. 

1. Position: Finance and Administrative Officer (Only for Female) 

Number of Vacancy: 1 

Job Location: Kathmandu  

Work Schedule: Full Time

Roles and Responsibility

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities; including the financial transactions, payments, ledgers, monitoring budget implementation and providing regular financial updates.
  • To collect necessary supporting and maintain proper documentation regarding the project 
  • Prepare report and ensure the financial transactions, payments and procurements held as per organization policy and government regulations
  • Collect invoices/bills and make payment ensuring the prevailing financial rules and regulations
  • To Identify and develop administrative systems and procedures relating to the management of projects, including necessary Admin staffing structure.
  • Assist the external auditor during organization and project audit and follow up the auditor's recommendation. 
  • Review travel expenditure report and supporting documents for the settlement of travel advance. 
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly TDS calculations and prompt payment of deducted taxes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent accounting knowledge, including tax, VAT, and other provisions. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to establish a positive working environment and lead a team.

2. Position: Program Assistant (for upcoming project-female only)

Number of Vacancy: 1 

Job Location: Kathmandu with possibility of field visit outside Kathmandu 

Work Schedule: Part Time

Job description

  • Assist Project head or coordinator to run project
  • Provide administrative and operational support on implementation of project
  • Assist in baseline survey, project implementation, monitoring and evaluation. 
  • Translate documents from English to Nepali and vice versa.
  • Able to click photos and videos and narrate family stories.

Job specification

  • Bachelor Degree in Social Science
  • Having basic reporting skills   
  • Nepali (Preeti/Kantipur) typing (preferred)
  • Willing to travel to different districts
  • Skills to communicate with local people and stakeholder

3. Position: Social Media Handling and Content Creator

Number of Vacancy: 1 

Job Location: Kathmandu  

Work Schedule: Part time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create and curate high-quality content for social media platforms, including written posts, images, and videos.
  • Monitor social media including website to update our Organization
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with NGO and INGOs to make positive change in the Community.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance.
  • Design eye-catching graphics, images, and videos for use on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Assist in the creation of written content for social media posts, including captions and hashtags

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in developing content strategies for social media
  • Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
  • Strong writing and editing abilities including Nepali typing 
  • Experience with graphic design and video editing is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Requirements:

  • 10 + 2 or Bachelor in Marketing, Communications, social science or  a related field.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for social media marketplace content
  • At least one year of experience in social media management.
  • Proficiency in using social media scheduling tools.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) a plus.
