KIRDARC Nepal is implementing “USAID Education: Equity and Inclusion”, in all districts of Karnali Province with technical support from Plan International and funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Therefore, KIRDARC Nepal is expecting job applications from suitable, qualified, dynamic, and motivated candidates to fill the vacant positions as mentioned below.
1. Position Description: Provincial Director, 1 Person (Based in Birendranagar, Surkhet)
Academic Qualification and Experience: Master’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender & Development, or any relevant field. Minimum 10 years of experience in project/program management in similar roles of authority, preferably education projects in Nepal especially Karnali Province. Experience managing USAID funded project would be an added advantage.
Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Advanced knowledge of project management, international and national education programs, guidelines, and policies; In-depth understanding of the Nepal government’s provincial priority program in education and related policies and plans; School Sector Development Plan (SSDP), School Sector Education Plan (SESP) and the role of provincial and local government and development partners in its implementation. Basic understanding about the issues of equity and inclusion (EI) in education and EI-related disbursement-linked indicators (DLI) at the local level
Profound analytical, strategic thinking, coordination, and negotiation skills; problem-solving and relationship-building skills; ability to build positive and trustworthy relationships for influencing People management and team-building skills Experience in managing time and resource constraints; Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English and Nepali complex and technical information to technical and general audiences; and proven IT skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoints, etc. Residents of the Karnali Province, women and candidates from minority groups shall be highly prioritized”

2. Position Description: Project Manager (Education), 1 Person (Based in Birendranagar, Surkhet)
Academic Qualification and Experience:- Master’s Degree in Education, or any relevant field. Minimum 8 years of working experience as education related thematic expert or management of education related projects/programs in Nepal.
Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Knowledge on education program and related policies, plans, (international, national and local). Advanced knowledge of project management, in depth understanding about the Nepal government’s provincial priority program in education, inclusion, and related policies and plans; knowledge about School Sector Development Plan (SSDP), School Sector Education Plan (SESP) and SDGs and the role of provincial and local government and development partners in implementation. 3. Position Description: MEAL Coordinator, 1 Person (Based in Birendranagar, Surkhet)
Academic Qualification and Experience: Master’s Degree in Education, Development Studies, Management, Statistics or any relevant field. Minimum 5 years of experience in project or program management in similar roles of authority, preferably education projects in Nepal Experience managing USAID-funded projects would be an added advantage.
Key Skills and Knowledge required: Advanced knowledge of the result-based monitoring and evaluation system, recent practice of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning, protection and safeguarding, international and national education programs, guidelines, and policies; the Nepal government’s provincial priority program in education and related policies and plans; and a basic understanding of the issues of equity and inclusion (EI) in education and EI-related disbursement-linked indicators (DLI) at the local level.
Sound knowledge on data collection and analysis tools; content development and report writing; Experience in Fund Raising and Proposal Development; Experience leading trainings and workshops, and sound communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

4. Position Description: Finance & Operation Coordinator, 1 Person (Based in Birendranagar, Surkhet)
Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business administration, or related field with minimum 8 years’ experience or, Master’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration, or related field with minimum 5 years’ experience.
Key Skills and Knowledge required: Advanced knowledge of FAMAS software and organizational financial management. Knowledge of international and national financial compliances, guideline and policies; Take a lead role in financial planning, implementation, Review financial statements for all locations and administration to ensure that reports are available for submission and distribution to the relevant funding partners, senior management team, and government authority as required.

5. Position Description: Information Management Officer, 1 Person (Based in Birendranagar, Surkhet)
Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, , Management, Statistics, or any relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience; Master’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, Gender & Development, Management, Statistics, or any relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project or program management in similar roles of authority, preferably education projects in Nepal.
Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Satisfactory knowledge on result-based monitoring and evaluation. Ground experience in the recent practice of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning. Having sound knowledge of protection and safeguarding Basic knowledge about SDG goals and key national priority indicators on relevant topics knowledge on data collection and analysis tools; Check and verify the quality of performance data for the project/s performance indicators through designing, developing and implementing a system of surveys and instruments for data collection, analysis and reporting. 7. Position Description: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, 1 Person (Based in Birendranagar, Surkhet)
Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, Gender & Development, Management, Statistics, or any relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience; Master’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, Gender & Development, Management, Statistics, or any relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project or program management in similar roles of authority, preferably education projects in Nepal.
- Result tracking and reporting
- Record and track information related to target groups

8. Position Description: Senior Finance Officer, 1 Person (Based in Birendranagar, Surkhet)
Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business administration, or related field with 7 years’ experience or Master’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration, or related field with minimum 2 years’ experience.
Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Knowledge of FAMAS, Ability to review and provide feedback to cluster finance colleagues on financial documentation, expenditure patterns, and compile reports for multiple locations. Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, Gender & Development, or any relevant field. Bachelors with minimum 5 years and masters with minimum 3 years of working experience as an education-related thematic expert or manager of education-related projects or programs in Nepal
