SABAL Nepal is a leading humanitarian and development organization working in the field of disaster risk reduction, WASH, governance, community development, livelihood, clean energy and climate change in Madhesh Province, with its headquarter in Rajbiraj, Saptari, Branch office at Mirchaiya, Siraha, and field office in Khadak Municipality, Kalyanpur, Saptari. SABAL has over a decade of experience delivering emergency respond, crisis management, sanitation approaches and governance. Our responses focus on the needs of the most vulnerable populations, particularly, youth, adolescent, girls, women and people with special needs. WASH governance issue is at the heart of SABAL Nepal efforts because our experience shows that its gain can translate into benefits for the HHs, society, local government and SDG 2030. Sabal Nepal, a non-profitable social development organization of Nepal. Currently, Sabal Nepal is implementing the Save the Children supported project titled “SAMUNNATI Project” in Madhesh Province, we invite applications from interested and qualified Nepali citizens for the following position. This project is running from the date of Nov 2014. This position is located in the Saptari District.


Position: Field Officer (Health) – 1

Qualification and experiences: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health (BPH), at least 3 years in leading and managing Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH), Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) and School Health and Nutrition (SHN) projects and programs will be given priority. Candidate has ability to adopt innovation in the program, higher degree of taking initiatives and ability to work independently. S/he should computer skills on word processing, power point, Excel, and others application, ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, able to work in short deadlines. Proficiency in working technical and programmatic reports that document program directions and results and strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills and ability to prepare reports and documents in English and Nepali and perform communication with visitors in good manner.

Assignment: 30% Office based works including DATA management and 70% Field based work including training and supervision (may modify as upon program requirement).


Position: Health Supervisor – 1

Qualification and experiences: Certificate Level in Nursing (Staff Nurse) or Health Assistant (HA) having 2 years of diversified experiences in project planning, implementation, supervision and community mobilization along with computer skills and fluent in speaking & report writing in English, Nepali and local languages. The advantages will be given  from statistics background.

Assignment: 90% field based work including implementation, management, community mobilization and quality control and 10% Office based work including reporting and district based networking and coordination (may modify as upon program requirement).


Position: Education Supervisor – 1

Qualification and experiences: Intermediate or equivalent having 2 years of relevant experiences in social mobilization and project planning, implementation, supervision and community mobilization along with computer skills and fluent in speaking & report writing in English, Nepali and local languages. The advantages will be given  from statistics background & Priority will be given to Bachelor Degree Holders.

Assignment: 100% Field based work including assurance of program quality as per basis of set standards and field visit & supervision (may modify as upon program requirement).

 

Safeguarding: We respect and follow the safeguarding policy every time. The post holder will have contact with children and/or young peoples, vulnerable communities, and stakeholders either frequently or intensively in the program area because they work for country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing policy and the police checking/vetting process staff.
