Training Officer

The core responsibility of this position is to design training package, conduct orientation, identify training gaps, plan and manage trainings and capacity building program accordingly.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Fully involve in post training follow up activities and identify strong areas and weak areas for team members' assistance.
• Have frequent field visits and conduct mobile trainings in service delivery sites, 
• Help to produce quarterly training reports and get this ready to be submitted to National Training Centre and Regional Link MA.
• Maintain clinical training data base and share this in every MAT meeting. Involve in distance learning training package and implement it accordingly.
• Coordinate and maintain good relationship with the Government.
• Assist in preparing letters and take approval from the NHTC prior to every clinical training
• Assist in making necessary administrative managements for the trainings 
• Facilitate/conduct the training as a trainer/ co-training
• Provide coaching to the participants during practical session
• Ensure that there are maximum clients for the practicum in the centres.
• Ensure that all the practical training centres are fully equipped and staffs cooperative.
• Assist the TM to identify training need of the staff with the coordination of supervisors, QTA team, operational team etc.
• Assist the Training manager in preparing training plan as per the need.
• Provide refresher trainings to staff depending on the need.
• Provide on the job training to team members in the centres
• Helps in the up to date documentation of the training report and records after every training event.
• Conduct post training monitoring and identifies competency level of the team members
• Provide cluster/mobile training as per the need.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Bachelor in Nursing (BN)
• At least 3 years experience on training and developing the skills of others
• Ability to travel at short notice and spend long periods outside Kathmandu.
• Relevant work experience in training management and coordination and compliance under USAID projects
• Trained in IUCD, Implant, MEM, CAC, STI/RTI, CTS
