Terms of Reference (ToR) for Documentation of Case Stories

1. Background of the Organization: 

The Social Development Centre (SDC) Mahottari was established in 1997 as an NGO by a group of activists representing marginalized communities in the Terai region. SDC is registered with the District Administration Office and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC) in Kathmandu. Since its inception, SDC has actively promoted the rights of Dalits, women, and excluded groups through advocacy and awareness programs in the Terai/Madhesh districts. The organization addresses various forms of caste and class violence, gender and domestic violence, as well as social and economic injustices and discrimination that contribute to conflict in society. Since its establishment, SDC has engaged in various awareness-raising and advocacy programs for Dalits, women, and minority groups in the Terai/Madhesh Province. The organization is currently implementing two projects;1. Eco School, 2. Comprising Awareness and Resilience in Education (CARE) with funding support of World Vision International Nepal.

2. Documents to be submitted by Organization/Company/Consultant

The application shall contain following documents:

Organization profile with relevant experiences 

1. Signed CV of the Team leader and members 
2. A copy of Company/Organization registration
3. Organization Profile 
4. A copy of Tax Clearance Certificate (F/Y 2080/2081)
5. VAT/ PAN registration
6. Audit report (Latest)
7. Sample posters and other IEC materials
8. Any other relevant documents

3. Submission Process
