Sabal Nepal, in partnership with MCDC and WHH, invites qualified consulting firms, universities, and joint ventures to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for consulting services related to the design and implementation of Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTP) and Solid Waste Management (SWM) facilities. This project aims to enhance environmental sustainability and public health through improved waste management infrastructure.
Scope of Work:
The selected consultant(s) will be responsible for:
- Conducting a comprehensive feasibility study for FSTP and SWM facilities.
- Providing design and engineering services for the selected sites.
- Assisting in the procurement and installation of necessary equipment.
- Leading stakeholder consultations and community engagement activities.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Proven track record in similar projects, particularly in the environmental and waste management sectors.
- Ability to work closely with local governments and communities.
- Registered with appropriate authorities, with up-to-date tax clearance.
Submission Requirements: Interested applicants must submit the following:
- A detailed technical proposal outlining the approach, methodology, team composition, and timeline (not exceeding 30 pages).
- A financial proposal detailing the proposed budget for the study, including fees and other costs.
- CVs of key personnel and legal documents (registration and tax clearance).
- Any other relevant documents that support the application.
Safeguarding: We respect and follow the safeguarding policy every time. The post holder will have contact with children and/or young peoples, vulnerable communities, and stakeholders either frequently or intensively in the program area because they work for country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing policy and the police checking/vetting process staff.
