Title: Team Leader – Finance

1. General Tasks

• Effective Team leader. Team leader-Finance 

2. Specific responsibility 

a. Accounting & Taxation

• Accurate accounting of Direct and Indirect Expenses.
• Monthly closure of books of accounts for regular reporting.
• Timely submission of return –TDS, Income Tax &  VAT.
• VAT related developments in Accounting Software.
• Supervission of the Accounts Payable Team on an on-going basis.
• Annual reconciliation with vendors, obtaining no due certificates.
• Review advance payments to vendors & getting the bills in place.
• Handling petty cash balances and management of cash flow 
• Closing of files
• Calculation/provision regarding leave encashment, gratuity
• Handling Online payment portal

3. Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of experience, 
• The incumbent must be well versed with SAP or Tally (recording of entries, uploading of bills).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent planning and problem solving skills
• Well versed in working in excel

4. Additional Remarks

• Prior experience in travel industry will be an added advantage.
