Customer Support Executive

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a Web Hosting Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot, domain, hosting server, and software problems and help our customers achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Suggest Cloud and hosting solutions adapted to the customer’s needs.
  
• Ensure the proper functioning of a production environment for shared, dedicated, and virtualized web hosting servers.
• Manage, register, and transfer domain names and manage DNS entries.
• Provide technical assistance to customers by phone, chat, and helpdesk.
  
• Must demonstrate the capacity and desire for continued, independent learning.
• Excellent organization, time management/prioritization, and follow-up skills.
• Excellent customer relations, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Must love to talk to customers and help them define business needs.

Technical Requirements:

• Good understanding of web concepts such as DNS and IP.
• Experience in MySQL database system management an asset.
• Proven ability in customer service, or customer-facing technical assistance.
  
• Experience with cPanel/WHM or other control panels.
  
• Knowledge of PHP programming language is an asset.
• To be qualified for this role, you should hold a degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering. Microsoft, Linux, or similar certification is a plus. If you’re naturally a helper, enjoy assisting people with computer issues, and can explain technical details simply, we’d like to meet you.
