Vacancy Announcement: Textiles Sourcing Manager (Consultant)

Contract Duration: Two Months (Early 2025) with possibility of extension

Himalaya Trade and Travel seeks a dynamic Sourcing Manager (Consultant) to identify and partner with Nepali manufacturers of high-quality goods, including cashmere/pashmina scarves, clothing, carpets and leather items destined for international markets.

Responsibilities:

• Identify competitive products made in Nepal.

• Research and evaluate suppliers for quality, pricing, safety and ethical practices.

• Negotiate favourable terms and ensure adherence to safety and international standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management in the textile sector.

• Expertise in Nepali-made goods and familiarity with international trade standards.

• High integrity, strong negotiation and communication skills.

Remuneration:

Monthly lumpsum of NPR 100,000.- all inclusive
