Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software QA Manager to lead our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through strategic planning, process optimization, and effective team management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven experience managing QA teams, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze and interpret complex information effectively.
- Proficiency in testing tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the QA team, setting clear goals and performance expectations.
- Provide mentorship and training to QA team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, processes, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define testing approaches to ensure all products meet high-quality standards.
- Create, review and manage test cases. Maintain accurate testing documentation.
- Analyze testing results and track key quality metrics, reporting progress to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage risks related to software quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advocate for innovative QA tools and practices.
