Short video production on School SAMVAD (SS) under Local Curriculum

TASK: 

To produce a short documentary film that shows on School SAMVAD programme (Local curriculum), depicting its origin, Context and process particularly the empowerment of adolescents (Students) and newer avenues that open for them due to the SAMVAD process and activities of the programme. 

The film will be in Nepali (the local language) and subtitled in English.

PURPOSE: 

The short film will be used as a visual tool to introduce the ‘School SAMVAD Programme" for sharing and learning purposes at the Lumbini Province level conference and other forums as advocacy and lobby tools for promoting the SAMVAD concept and approaches with target audiences. It will be also used to familiarize targeted audiences who are not familiar with such programmes.  

REQUIRED SERVICES AS DELIVERABLES:

A short film of a maximum of 7 - 8 minutes in length, depicting visually the below concerns/expectations using factual and true personalities of School SAMVAD participants, key Stakeholders and relevant contexts in Dang & Pyuthan Districts. 

• The conventional and challenging role of a girl (rural) in the targeted areas, that bear roots to create this program. In simple 'WHY' School SAMVAD was created?
• What School SAMVAD is about? What factors are being addressed by SS? How does SS address the social and personal gaps of deprived adolescent girls and boys?
• The results- the social and personal positive changes of participants who undergo the program. The change experienced by the individual, family members and the community at large with examples.
• Film should be simply communicated, produced in Nepali (local language) and subtitled in English matching the purposes and given target audiences. 

METHOD OF PROPOSAL:

SF expects a proposal (technical and financial) from consultant/trainers. The proposal should include how to achieve the training objectives and deliverables mentioned above and the budget. 

Consultants/firms are expected to send their proposals directly to Stromme Foundation Nepal Office, Sanepa Lalitpur through an email addressing to the Country Coordinator at sfpostnep@stromme.org by 9th November 022.

All terms and conditions will be included in the consultancy contract agreement. SF deserves the right to select or reject any proposal with its own judgment as well as cancel/terminate at any stage if situation arisen.
