SENIOR QA ENGINEER(Automation) On Site Work

TITLE: SENIOR  QA ENGINEER(Automation) On Site Work 

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and processes.
• Experience of API Testing and testing automation would be plus in any languages i.e., JAVA, Python, or any.
• Proven experience in both manual and automated testing, with proficiency in testing tools and scripting languages.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn new BI tools and technologies.
• Some experience in data analysis and data quality checks is preferable.
• Knowledge of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing is a BIG PLUS.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is desirable.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement effective test strategies and plans based on project requirements.
• Mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on testing best practices and methodologies.
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of software releases.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify testing needs.
• Collaborate with business team to understand the data and reporting needs
• Perform regression testing, functional testing and system integration testing as needed.
• Conduct performance and load testing to identify and address bottlenecks.
• Document and report defects, track and prioritize issues, and provide feedback to the development team.
• Understands data quality issues – wrong data, incomplete data, incorrectly computed data and track, monitor, document, communicate and educate data quality findings across the team.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to quality assurance and testing.
• Work closely with the Agile/Scrum team to integrate testing into the development process.
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to enhance overall product quality.
• A cultivated commitment to testing every aspects of the data and reports 
• Maintain strict confidentiality of your work.
• Communicate proactively and effectively with team members, leads, management, and clients where necessary.
• Assist in creating a friendly, entrepreneurial and A+ corporate culture in Nepal.

EDUCATION 

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering – Computer Science or equivalent

EXPERIENCE 

• 3 + years of prior working experience in the above- mentioned domain would be preferred and favorable.
