Senior Accountant

A fast-growing cross-border e-commerce startup operating in the Middle East and Europe, with a team in Kathmandu, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to support its expansion.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA/BBS) or a related field.  

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial management and control.  

- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Google Sheets, MS Excel, and Word, with strong analytical abilities.  

- Excellent spoken and written English skills.  

- Team player who can create a collaborative working environment.  

- Ability to analyze financial risks and prepare reports promptly.  

- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.  

Key Responsibilities:  

- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.  

- Prepare financial statements and reports.  

- Assist with budget planning and financial forecasting.  

- Perform data analysis and account reconciliations.  

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.  

- Maintain a file management system for both soft and hard copies of documentation.  

- Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.  

- Report directly to senior management.  

- Verify the accuracy of expenses.
