Roles and Responsibility
Setting Sales Goals: Establishing achievable and strategic sales targets aligned with the company's objectives.
Sales Planning and Strategy: Developing sales plans, strategies, and tactics to achieve the set goals. This includes market analysis, forecasting, and competitor evaluation.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status. Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities.
Team Management: Recruiting, training, mentoring, and supervising the sales team. Providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure high performance.
Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Sales Techniques and Training: Implementing effective sales techniques, providing training and coaching to improve the team's skills and performance.
Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Managing budgets, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring cost-effective strategies in sales operations.
Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align strategies and support overall company objectives.
Setting Policies and Procedures: Establishing sales policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline operations and maintain consistency.
Conflict Resolution: Handling conflicts with clients, negotiating terms, and resolving issues to maintain positive relationships.
Representing the Company: Acting as a representative of the company in various events, conferences, and meetings to promote products/services and build partnerships.
Requirements and skills
· A strong background in sales, often with several years of experience in progressively responsible roles, to understand the nuances of the sales process.
· Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
· Tech Savvy with strong business sense and industry expertise.
· Proficiency in negotiating terms, closing deals, and handling conflicts to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
· Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
