Position: Sales & Marketing Manager
Location: International Institute of Gastronomy (IIG), Nepal
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving student enrollments, building brand awareness, and expanding corporate partnerships for IIG. This role requires a dynamic individual who can develop and execute strategic marketing plans, manage promotional campaigns, and establish strong industry relationships to enhance the institute’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement student recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment targets.
  • Identify potential B2B and B2C markets for promoting IIG’s programs.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, agencies, and corporates to drive enrollments.
  • Maintain an active student inquiry database and follow up effectively to convert leads into admissions.
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorships to expand the brand reach.

2. Marketing & Branding:

  • Create and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance IIG’s visibility.
  • Manage digital marketing strategies, including social media, SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
  • Oversee content creation for social media, blogs, websites, and advertisements.
  • Coordinate with designers and agencies for brochures, banners, and promotional materials.
  • Develop and maintain a strong online presence for the institute.

3. Event & PR Management:

  • Plan and manage education fairs, open days, workshops, and industry networking events.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with media, influencers, and hospitality industry leaders.
  • Represent IIG in seminars, industry events, and student recruitment fairs.

4. Market Research & Performance Tracking:

  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and competitor strategies.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on marketing performance, lead conversions, and sales insights.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven improvements.

Job Specification:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales & marketing, preferably in education, hospitality, or F&B industry.
  • Experience in student recruitment, digital marketing, and partnership development is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to convert leads into enrollments and secure partnerships.
  • Marketing Expertise: Knowledge of branding, digital marketing, and content strategies.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written skills for engaging clients, students, and stakeholders.
  • Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to lead a team, work cross-functionally, and collaborate with faculty.
  • Analytical Thinking: Capability to assess market trends, campaign performance, and ROI.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn, SEO tools, etc.).
  • Experience in graphic design or video editing is a plus.
