About the Project

USAID/BHA-funded Strengthening Institutional Knowledge and Capacity of Provincial and Local Governments to Embark on Disaster Risk Management Actions and Implementation (SIKAI) project aims to address the devastating impacts of the floods and landslides of September 2024 in Nepal, particularly in Bagmati and Koshi provinces, which resulted in significant loss of life, injuries, and extensive property damage.

In response to this crisis, Youth Innovation Lab will engage youth as Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Fellows in six municipalities across the Bagmati and Koshi provinces. The Fellows will be placed in these municipalities for a period of five months, during which they will play a crucial role in supporting the localization of the Bipad Portal.

Specific Objective

To evaluate and select hotel venues in Kathmandu that demonstrate the highest capability to provide comprehensive accommodations and facilities for the below-mentioned program:

  • Residential training from 17-21 January 2025.

YI-Lab invites dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced hotels to apply for the service.

Requirements

  • Residential Package for around 16 people.
  • A venue with a hall that could accommodate 25 people in a round table setting comfortably.
  • Offer full board dining services that include varied menu options for breakfast, lunch, hi-tea and dinner, as well as morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks.

Quotation Submission Details

  • The potential and interested service provider must submit:
  • The quotation for above mentioned event stating the availability and capacity to host both events on the given dates above.
  • The quotation provided should clearly specify all necessary costs, if applicable, including hall rental, internet, audiovisual equipment, and any other requirements.
  • The budget should clearly mention the applicable government taxes, and any other relevant costs required to ensure the smooth functioning of the events.

Evaluation of the quotations

  • All applications will undergo an evaluation against a set of evaluation criteria of the call. The evaluation will be done by an Evaluation Committee.
