Request for Quotation of installation of 3 HH Biogas

Environment and Rural Development Center (ENRUDEC) is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization having its head office at Kohalpur Municipaliity-11 of Banke District, Nepal. ENRUDEC was established in 1997 in response to the need of having a sustained mechanism for environment protection, health maternal and Child health, livelihood, WASH and human rights in order to create better and prosper societies. ENRUDEC is registered in District Administration Office Banke and has affiliation with social Welfare Council, NGO federation, NGO Coordination Committee and Human Rights Alliance. Currently ENRUDEC is also actively working on promoting clean energy technologies.

Piloting Clean energy approaches to improve Livelihoods, Conservation, Safety and Sustainability (CLASS) in the Buffer zone of Banke National Park. The project aims to enhance Gavar Valley Lions Park by creating a cleaner, greener, and more educational environment for visitors. It also seeks to improve livelihood opportunities for the Gavar Valley community and strengthen the existing human-wildlife conflict (HWC) mitigation strategies in place. Project is implemented by National NGO Wildlife Conservation Nepal and Local NGO Environment and Rural Development Center (ENRUDEC) with financial and technical support from Renewable World (RW). The project is being implemented in Baijanath Rural Municipality ward no. 01 and covers around 300 households.

ENRUDEC invites quotation from the interested firm registered to Government of Nepal for the Installation of 3 HH biogas (6m3) (up to 100% grant to the community as piloting the technology in the area) to transform livestock manure into gas and fertilizer in Gavar Valley Community located at Baijnath RM-01, Gavar of Banke district.

Scope of Works

1. Supply, installation, and after-sales service of three units of 6m³ capacity Prefabricated Flexible Bag Digester technology and related services as specified, to be delivered to three different locations in Baijnath R.M.-01, Gavar, Banke, in accordance with the given specifications and standards.
2. All biogas systems supplied shall be warranted by a contractor/firm against any defects in design, manufacturing, installation for a minimum period of 2 years from the date of handover to the user.
3. Warranty for biogas system shall be provided as specified in the technical specification and warranty form.
4. Rectification of all the defects in the works during the warranty period shall be done by the selected contractor/firm promptly, at the most, within 7 days from the date of receipt of complaint.
5. Deliver Operation and Maintenance (O&M) training and provide a booklet/manual (in Nepali/English).
6. Provide valid, efficiency tested certificates and technical life span declaration documents from the manufacturer.

• Quotation (mention brand/ model, warranty) on suppliers/firm letterhead with stamp and signature. 
• Company/Firm Registration Certificate
• PAN/VAT Registration Certificate
• Tax Clearance Certificate (FY: 2079/80)
