CASA - Market Assessment of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAP)

Swisscontact, established in 1959 in Switzerland, is a leading partner organisation for the implementation of international development projects. Swisscontact, registered as an International Non-Governmental Organisation in Nepal, has been operating since 1991 and is currently implementing six development programmes across all seven provinces of Nepal.  

Swisscontact Nepal is also implementing the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth Development Office’s (FCDO) funded Commercial Agriculture for Smallholders and Agribusiness (CASA) programme. The programme works towards the commercialisation of the dairy and vegetable value chain in Nepal. 

This request for proposal (RFP) is to invite potential service providers to conduct market assessment of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAP) for CASA programme. The detailed Request for Proposal and ToR are available at this link: Requests for proposal - Nepal - Countries - Site (swisscontact.org)

Interested organisations are invited to submit their technical and financial proposal with a cover letter and eligibility criteria to info.casa@swisscontact.org no later than 07 August 2024, with subject line: CASA - Market Assessment of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAP).

The proposal should include Understanding of the Terms of Reference, Methodology to be used, tentative work plan and budget. All applicants to enclose list of similar assignments undertaken with sample reports and references. Final deliverables to be completed not later than 30 September 2024.
