SABAL has over a decade of experience delivering emergency respond, crisis management, sanitation approaches and governance. Our responses focus on the needs of the most vulnerable populations, particularly, youth, adolescent, girls, women and people with special needs. WASH governance issue is at the heart of SABAL Nepal efforts because our experience shows that its gain can translate into benefits for the HHs, society, local government and SDG 2030. Sabal Nepal, in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), invites qualified consultants or consulting firms to submit Expressions of Interest (EoI) for the following assignment:
Consultancy Services for Comprehensive Business Scoping Study/Market Survey for Processed Drinking Water and Sanitary Pads
Project Overview:
The project, "Up-scaling WASH Systems Strengthening Approach in the Terai Region of Nepal (NPL 1082-22)", is being implemented in five municipalities of Siraha District. The main objective is to promote the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation through community engagement, WASH systems strengthening, and advocacy.
Scope of Work:
* Conduct market survey and analysis for processed drinking water (bottled/jar) and bio-degradable sanitary pads.
* Develop detailed business plans for these products.
* Explore other potential WASH-related enterprises.
Qualification Requirements:
* Expertise in market research and business plan development.
* Knowledge of WASH-related businesses and social business models.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
Submission Requirements:
Interested parties must submit:
* Detailed technical proposal with methodology and CVs of experts.
* Financial proposal with cost estimates.
* Legal documents including PAN/VAT registration, tax clearance, and company registration certificates.
* Contact details of two referees.
