WaterAid is an international non-profit organisation with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

WaterAid Nepal is committed to make meaningful contributions towards ending the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) crisis in Nepal by addressing the barriers to WASH and focusing on two strategic aims contributing to Nepal’s national priorities and WaterAid’s global ambition. The first aim is to demonstrate universal access to WASH in selected subnational areas to establish resilient, inclusive services that will influence wider change, and the other aim is to prioritise gender responsive WASH in the health sector for improved public health. These aims will incorporate the challenges of building resilience to climate change and addressing the financing gaps. 

WaterAid Nepal invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) registered in Madhesh, Bagmati, and Lumbini Provinces that have experience in the WASH sector in service delivery, sector strengthening, and policy influence at the local and provincial government levels to collaborate on WASH-related projects. These projects aim to engage with communities, schools, healthcare facilities, local governments, private sectors, and academic institutions — focusing on nutrition, public health, climate change, and building community resilience through WASH interventions in the target provinces and local governments. This call seeks to identify capable NGOs with demonstrated experience and capacity to deliver high-impact, sustainable programs aligned with WaterAid Nepal’s strategic priorities. 

Expression of Interest (EoI) can be submitted by completing the two forms (Form 1: Letter of Interest and Form 2: Organisational profile.
