Relief Nepal is a non-profit non-government organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of poor vulnerable children, youth, women underprivileged, and most disadvantaged people in Nepal. Relief Nepal was founded in 2002 as a community-based organization and it was formally registered as an NGO in 2008 in District Administration Office, Sindhuli. It is also affiliated in the social welfare council in 2009, Relief Nepal works with the five major themes at its core which are: Protection, Health, and Education, WASH, Livelihood, and DRM/CCA.

Relief Nepal has issued this bid to request you to quote the prices for the "School Bags" to support the RC children under P-CESP Project funded by World Vision International Nepal

Request for Bids Supply of School Bag

1. Interested bidders are advised to obtain bidding document from 30th Jan, 2025 to 19 Feb, 2025, 04:00 PM Relief Nepal's office or by submission of email request to: scm@reliefnepal.org.np along with electronic copy of PAN/ VAT certificate, copy of Registration certificate, tax clearance certificate of 080/081.
2. All bids accompanied by a bid Security from 'A' class bank (2.5 % of total quoted price inclusive of VAT) must be delivered in accordance with the instructions to bidders can submit their Sealed bid latest by 4:00 PM on 19th Feb, 2025 in the address given below with sample, courier is not acceptable.
3. The bidder shall furnish a bid security (Refundable), from "A" class commercial bank with a minimum of 2.5%(Refundable) of the total quoted bid amount inclusive of VAT. Which shall be valid for 45 days beyond the validity period of the bid. The selected bidder's bid security will be released once the item is delivered and satisfy. However unsuccessful bidders bid security will be released within 7 days once the procurement decision is completed. Failure to deposit the bid security will lead to disqualification. Bank Guarantee document are only the valid forms of bid security, cheque submitted bids will not be processed further or accepted.
4. Sample shall be required as per the instructions and specifications mentioned in the bidding document. If sample is not as per specification mentioned in the bid document will disqualify and will not proceed for further process.
5. NGOs can establish a one-year long term agreement with the awarded bidder. Quantity of goods mentioned in RFQ document is only for reference quantity can be increased after agreement.
6. Bid opening meeting shall be done on 20th Feb, 2025 (11:00 AM) in the presence of vendor or their representative, bid will open on same day even if any or all of the representatives were not present.
7. Relief Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject any applications in whole or in part and alter the provisions of this ITB as deemed necessary without assigning reasons whatsoever.
