Recruiting Specialist

The company's headquarters is in the United States, making proficiency in spoken and written English crucial. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and available to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. Communication with the HR department of potential clients will predominantly be conducted via phone calls, Zoom meetings, and LinkedIn. A primary duty will involve negotiating job order contracts with the HR department. Additional responsibilities include:


Job Summary:

The Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates for various roles within the life sciences sector. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying talent through a variety of channels while ensuring an excellent candidate experience. The ideal candidate will be driven, organized, fluent in English, and skilled in using computer applications and CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing & Candidate Generation: Utilize job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and other platforms to identify potential candidates for open positions.
  • Screening & Interviewing: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for roles.
  • CRM Management: Use CRM systems to manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and ensure up-to-date candidate records.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and clients to understand role requirements and deliver qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by keeping communication clear and transparent.
  • Reporting & Data Management: Prepare reports on recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, and maintain accurate records in the CRM.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other digital tools.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn, or similar) for managing candidate relationships and workflows.
  • At least 3+ years of recruitment or related experience, preferably in the life sciences or technical industries.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Previous work experience working with US clients is a plus. 
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and others.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
