Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Quality Officer to join our team, primarily focusing on our organic processing unit. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of organic processing techniques, product testing, quality control, and standards compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Have an adequate knowledge of product moisture analyzer testing and maintaining quality of product in the production processing unit and throughout supply chain.
  • Should have proper experience of quality control mechanism and analyzing results to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.
  • Familiar with organic certification standards and basic requirements necessary for processing of raw materials.
  • Capable of working collaboratively with production/procurement teams to assess raw material quality and implement product improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and maintain detailed records of all activities, including product testing results, inspections, and taking initiatives to add value for product improvement.
  • Should have strong communication skills to report the quality-related information, issues and provide recommendations timely.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for management review which should have ability to clarify the state of the product quality and its ongoing improvement.
  • Provide timely suggestion and recommendation to the production/procurement team for sourcing and selecting high-quality raw materials.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to the staffs of processing unit on quality control procedures, standards and compliance.
  • Analyze data find results from field experiments and provide recommendations for the product improvement.
  • Be up-to-date and should have knowledge about relevant regulations and standards affecting organic processing of ginger, turmeric, beetroot, carrot etc.

Academic and professional qualification:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Food Technology preferred or academic qualification in relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience.
  • Strong understanding of processing, quality control and quality testing.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentially and professionally.
  • Ability to work independently as a part of team.

Salary: As per company rules and regulations

Must be a Nepali citizen.
