Quality Assurance Engineer

We have a growing team and are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our fleet to test and contribute to quality assurances to the software, mobile apps and other IT enabled products that we develop. Position: Junior Level

Job Description

• Prepare Test plans and test cases.
• Test and document software
• Execute tests (manual/automated)
• Participate in technical meetings with technical team and other stakeholders
• Manage Tests and quality assurance activities Liaison between the customers and the technical team.
• Analyze business and software requirements
• Learn and understand software use
• Read technical documentation and software user manuals
• Test cases/scripts preparation and review.
• Test environment setup
• Defect/bug reporting
• Design QA strategy for the entire project.

Skills:

• Be experienced in Python and Selenium or willing to learn them.
• Be able to analyses business and software requirements
• Be willing to go through the hardship of learning processes of Quality Assurance Field
• Be good in documentation and communication
• Know how to read technical documents
• Know UML diagrams like Sequence Diagram, Use case diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram
• Have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Be experienced in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Be able to Execute tests (manual/automated)
• Be able to Perform non-functional tests like Performance and Security tests
• Be Involved in process enhancement initiatives

Qualities we are looking for:

• Know the theory of Software Engineering
• Have acquaintance with agile methodologies.
• Love to test software
• Have the zeal to explore new technologies
• Have worked in SQL and database management systems
• Knowledge of Linux,GIT is an additional value
• Self motivated

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent

Experience: At least one year experience.

Working hours: 10am- 6pm, 6 days a week.

Salary: Negotiable
