VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Good Neighbors International (GNI) has been working in Nepal since 2002 for improving the lives of people, especially children through child protection, education, income generation, health services, water, sanitation and hygiene, disaster risk reduction/climate change adaptation, gender, and advocacy programs. Currently, GNI Nepal serves marginalized and vulnerable children, families, and communities in 20 districts across Nepal.

GNI Nepal invites applications for the following position:

Position: Officer– Public Health, Lalitpur (one)

Job Description:

  • Support preparation and review of Annual Plan of Action.
  • Assist to complete health and WASH-related activities.
  • Facilitate PNGOs' staff to capture the result.
  • Review and compile periodic reports.
  • Participate in field monitoring.
  • Supporting in research and survey related work.
  • Prepare district profile and maintain district-wise support details under health system strengthening.
  • Develop content for training and development and facilitate the training program as required.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health or relevant field.
  • At least two-year experience in INGO/NGO in public health or WASH related project.
  • Knowledge of project implementation in the health sector.
  • Good analytical and networking skills.
  • Ability to work in team.
  • Ability and willingness to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with relevant information technology.
