International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.
For the following position, INF Nepal Kalikot Office is seeking competent, skilled, service oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions, and values.
1. Position: Project Officer

Location: Khandachakra, Kalikot
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder is responsible for the effective and efficient implementation of pilot project “Retaining Girls in School in Nepal”. The job holder will work to achieve the set objectives through the smooth running of the project in collaboration with the local education unit (LEU) and the health section of Khadachakra Municipality and the School Management Committees from selected schools. The post holder needs to develop good coordination and working relationship with stakeholders and will be responsible for the day to day implementation of project activities to achieve project outcomes.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Bachelor in Public health or Education with two-year work experience in the similar field or health Assistant plus Bachelor in any discipline with two years of work experience.
- Understanding of CSE principles and their importance in adolescent education and gender equality.
- Knowledge of the health/education system in Nepal and current trends in educational technology.
- Experience in designing and facilitating training sessions for teachers and School Management Committees (SMC).
- Knowledge on project cycle management
- Good interpersonal and communication skill at all levels
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Basic knowledge in Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, power point and Email)
- Willing to live in the relevant RM and maintain high standards of work with little supervision.
- Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
