Seto Gurans Child Development Service (SGCDS) Bajura is a non-government, non-profitable social organization established in 2006 in Bajura district. Our mission is changing the world through the empowering Nepal's children. We are dedicated to ensure quality education, (early grade reading and inclusive education) women empowerment, child right and inclusion specially focusing on disadvantage children and communities.

We are currently seeking applications from the eligible candidates with updated CV for the following position to support the implementing Early Grade Reading Program under the School Meal Program in all 9 local levels in Bajura with the partnership of World Education-A division of JSI. The applications are invited for self-motivated, energetic, result orientated Nepali citizens only.

1. Project Coordinator- 1 

Closing dateline: 31st August 2024

Key competencies and qualifications: 

• Minimum bachelor's degree in education, sociology, rural development, development studies, conflict management, social work. Preferable Master degree in relevant subject. 
• Having 3-year experience in relevant field.
• Must be Nepali citizen.
• Knowledge on early grade reading, inclusive education, LGML, reading mela, Tole Shikshya, couching mentoring, training facilitation skills etc.
• Ability to coordination with local government, diverse communities.
• Familiar with computer (word, excel, power-point-Nepali/English both)
• Ability to good report writing and documentation skills.

2. Technical Associate- 8 

Closing dateline: 10th September 2024

Key competencies and qualifications: 

• Minimum bachelor's degree in education, sociology, rural development, development studies, conflict management, social work. Preferable Master degree in relevant subject. 
• Having 2-year experience in relevant field.
• Must be Nepali citizen.
• Knowledge on early grade reading, inclusive education, LGML, reading mela, Tole Shikshya, couching mentoring, training facilitation skills etc.
• Ability to working with education section in local level.
• Familiar with computer (word, excel, power-point-Nepali/English both)
• Ability to good report writing and documentation skills.

3. Education Mobilizer- 3

Closing dateline: 10th September 2024

Key competencies and qualifications:

• At least 10+2 passed (in Education).
• At least 1 year experience in related field.
• Must be Nepali citizen.
• Fluent in Nepali and English language (written/spoken). Preferable Bajureli local language. 
• Good knowledge on community mobilization
• Ability to working with schools/classroom, coughing mentoring to the struggling children, support to Tole Shikshya, conducting reading mela. 

DURATION: The probation period will be for 3 months, with the option to extend based on the performance.
